Order a PC monitor on Amazon and cancel it a few days later. What could go wrong? Amazon returns gone horribly wrong while exposing some scam sellers is today’s topic. These same sellers are still active despite I warned Amazon about them.
I’m not saying Amazon doesn’t care about customer security and protection from suspicious sellers … but it sure does seem like it. I understand that they want as many sellers as possible to grow as much as possible. But having scammer sellers and not doing anything about it is really bad. This decreases customer satisfaction, experience, and in the end could result in customers going to some other shops.
My experience with trying to cancel an order for a monitor that WASN’T even delivered to me turned out to be a nightmare. Numerous contact with Amazon’s support telling me every time that the order has been canceled. And somehow this resulted in me still receiving the monitor. Horrible experience!
The whole process lasted over a week and to get to the final monitor I had to go through 4 other monitors actually. This is because 3 of them were from SCAM sellers on Amazon. In my experience, if the deal seems to be too good to be true, most likely it is. Be aware!
